Flamengo Football Club
Flamengo football club is a Brazilian multisport college based in Rio de Janeiro founded to rowing contests in November 17, 1895. Created in the neighborhood of the same name, moved to the neighborhood Gavea in the first half of the twentieth century.
His performance in football began in 1912. It is the club with the largest numbers of fans in Brazil and the world, as some polls indicate. It is estimated to have a crowd between 33 and 40 million fans in Brazil alone. Furthermore it is the only club in Rio's world champion, is the second team that won more times the Brazilian Championship with five titles recognized by the CBF and is the most successful team of the Carioca championship with 31 titles.
